Getting involved
The Ageing Well Camera Club Edinburgh welcomes new members. We meet every week on a Friday morning - either out and about when we're taking photos, or at Meadowbank Sports Centre where we all share our photos, in a friendly, supportive environment.
What you’ll need
To get the most out of the group, you will need:
A digital camera – any type of digital camera is welcome, from a compact camera to a DSLR or mirrorless camera. (We don’t use mobile phones for the club sessions.)
WhatsApp – we use it to keep in touch when we’re out on our photography mornings.
A memory stick (USB flash drive) – this is how we bring photos to the Meadowbank sessions for sharing with the group.
You’ll also need a way to copy a few of your photos from your camera onto the memory stick. If you’re not sure how to do that, don’t worry – ACE IT offers free one-to-one coaching and can help you get set up. You can read more about ACE IT here.
