Edinburgh's Ageing Well Camera Club is a group of camera and photography enthusiasts who meet every week to enjoy photography and friendship. We're called a camera club but the coffee and cake is just as important!
We operate on a week-about schedule. In week 1, we're out and about taking photos. Generally we end up in a coffee shop where the chat is about - well, pretty much anything. In week 2 we all meet up at Meadowbank Sports Centre to share our photos. It's always enjoyable to see the variety of photos that everyone has taken. And there's a café on-site for those who want another tea or coffee.
We're very much an all-abilities club. It doesn't matter what sort of camera you have, from a compact point-and-shoot to a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Everyone is welcome.
The club has been going since around 2004, so we've explored most of Edinburgh pretty thoroughly. Click here for a list of some of the locations we've visited.
